Available Settings

WorkSuite provides three configurable settings:

Dark Theme

Toggle between light and dark color schemes.
  • Light Mode - Default bright interface
  • Dark Mode - Dark background with light text
Your theme preference is saved in your browser and persists across sessions.

Text Size

Adjust the base text size for better readability. Available sizes:
  • 1 - Smallest (10px)
  • 2 - Small (12px)
  • 3 - Default (14px)
  • 4 - Medium (16px)
  • 5 - Large (18px)
  • 6 - Largest (20px)
Your text size preference is saved in your browser and persists across sessions.

Default Grid Rows

Set the default number of rows displayed in data grids throughout the application. Available options:
  • 25 rows - Compact view
  • 50 rows - Balanced view
  • 100 rows - Maximum rows
Your grid row preference is saved in your browser and persists across sessions.

Module Colors

WorkSuite automatically adjusts the primary color scheme based on which module you’re using:
  • Fulfill - Red theme
  • Material - Dark red theme
  • Availability - Teal blue theme
  • Restock - Green theme
  • Worksuite - Sage green theme
This color switching is automatic and not configurable.

Site Selection

Site selection is not a setting. It’s a module-level requirement that varies by module.
Some WorkSuite modules require you to select a site (location) before you can access them: Modules that require site selection:
  • Material (required)
  • Availability (required)
Modules where site selection is optional:
  • Fulfill (optional)
  • Settings (optional)
  • Restock (optional)
  • Produce (optional)

How Site Selection Works

When you access a module that requires a site:
  1. If no site is selected, you’ll see a “Select a Site” prompt
  2. Choose a site from the autocomplete dropdown
  3. Your selection is saved in browser storage
  4. The selected site persists until you clear browser data
The site selection is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB (via localforage). This means:
  • Your site selection persists across browser sessions
  • Clearing browser data will reset your site selection
  • Different browsers or devices will have separate site selections
  • The selection is not stored server-side

Browser Requirements

For the best experience with WorkSuite:
  • JavaScript - Must be enabled
  • Cookies - Required for authentication
  • Storage - Browser must allow local storage and IndexedDB
  • Browsers - Use a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Pop-ups - Allow pop-ups for features like PDF viewing

Troubleshooting

Settings Not Saving

If your settings don’t persist:
  • Check that your browser allows local storage
  • Verify you’re not in private/incognito mode
  • Check browser privacy settings
  • Try clearing browser cache and setting preferences again

Site Selection Not Persisting

If your site selection doesn’t stay between sessions:
  • Browser storage may be disabled
  • You may be in private/incognito mode
  • Browser privacy settings may be blocking IndexedDB
  • Try clearing browser data and selecting again

Dark Mode Issues

If dark mode doesn’t apply correctly:
  • Verify the setting is toggled on in Settings
  • Refresh the page after changing the theme
  • Check for browser extensions that may override styles
