What is the Restock Module?

The Restock module helps you create and manage load lists for distributing inventory. It supports two main workflows:
  1. Route-based Distribution: Create load lists for delivery routes (e.g., delivering to big-box retailers, customer locations)
  2. Station-to-Station Transfers: Manage internal transfers of inventory between warehouse stations
Site selection is optional in the Restock module. Load lists are typically station-specific and tied to your assigned station or warehouse location.
The module integrates with your ERP system to pull available inventory and push submitted orders back to the ERP for processing.

Key Features

Load List Sessions

  • Session Management: Create, save, and resume load list sessions
  • Custom Naming: Name sessions for easy identification (e.g., “Monday Morning Delivery”, “Big Box Restock”)
  • Session Status: Track draft, submitted, and completed sessions
  • Auto-save: Changes are automatically saved as you work

Dynamic Grid Interface

  • Real-time Updates: Quantities update automatically with a 3-second debounce
  • Route/Station Columns: Each route or station gets its own column for quantity entry
  • Custom Column Names: Rename columns to match your naming conventions (saved in browser only)
  • Visual Indicators:
    • Red highlighting when remaining availability goes negative (over-allocated)
    • Green totals row at the bottom
    • Automatic cart calculation

Availability Tracking

  • Allocated: Shows total quantity assigned across all routes/stations
  • Availability: Current ERP inventory levels
  • Containers on Shipment: Quantity already in transit
  • Remaining Availability: Calculated as Availability - Allocated - Containers on Shipment
When remaining availability is negative (red), you’ve allocated more than is available. This may cause fulfillment issues.

Batch Operations

  • Copy Route: Copy quantities from one route/station to another
  • Zero Out: Clear all quantities for a route, station, or entire session
  • Submit Orders: Push all quantities to the ERP as orders with a ship date
  • Export: Export load list to CSV or Excel (available from Session Manager)
