History Tab
The History tab shows the state of all your counts, in priority order:
| Section | Meaning |
|---|
| Failed Posts | The server rejected a post — the error is shown with Retry and Dismiss buttons |
| Posting / Waiting for Connection | Counts queued on the device; posting now (online) or waiting for a connection (offline) |
| Unposted Counts | Locations with counts you started but haven’t posted — tap one to jump back into that count |
| Posted history | Successfully posted counts, grouped by date; expand an entry to see the items and quantities |
A badge on the History tab signals attention: red for failed posts, blue for queued posts, orange for unposted counts.
Offline Behavior
ENGAGE is built for store environments with spotty connectivity:
- Items and locations are cached on the device, so you can keep counting offline
- Posting offline queues the count — it posts automatically in the background when the connection returns, with no action needed
- Failed posts are kept with their error message so they can be retried or investigated
Unposted and queued counts live on the device until they post. Don’t clear the browser’s site data while counts are pending, or they will be lost.
