Retail Actions

Retail mode handles store-level inventory. Pick the action from the toolbar’s Action menu:
  • Cycle Count — physical count of what’s on hand
  • Drop Offs — count items received at the store
  • Credit — record credits/returns
  • RFID Scan — bulk counting via RFID tags (where enabled)

Counting

  1. Select a location — pick the station, store, or bin from the location tree. Your selection is remembered.
  2. Count items, two ways:
    • Quick Scan — scan UPCs one after another; enter the quantity in flats or eaches
    • Manual entry — select the product, enter the quantity change, and optionally set a grade (1–4), add comments, and attach photos
  3. For organic items, assign the BP lot code when prompted (scan it or pick from the list)
Quantities entered in flats convert to eaches automatically based on the product’s container quantity.

Reviewing and Posting

  • Review Saved (toolbar badge) lists all unposted counts grouped by location — tap a count to edit or delete it
  • Post sends the batch to the server; posted entries move to Review Completed
  • Entries that fail to post keep their error message and can be retried; the app also retries automatically in the background while online

RFID Scan

Where RFID is enabled, the RFID Scan action reads tags in bulk, de-duplicates them, and aggregates the counts — no individual UPC scanning needed.
